Doctor Who things!

I’m currently in a rough patch, I guess, you could call it that, and I’m not even going to start. So just here’s a bunch of Doctor Who things I’ve been thinking, because it’s my break and I’ve been watching Doctor Who for the past few days. Although I’ve not yet finished with (only) Season 4 of New Who.

Figured I’d post them somewhere because I would maybe like to seek an audience.

Spoilers. Maybe.

  • So, Jenny reminded me so much of River, I guess it’s why I was so off about Jenny at first.
  • If the Doctor asks you to travel with him and it’s not the start of the season—no idea how you’d know that—you’re a redshirt. It’s like this lightbulb turns on in everyone’s heads (probably), ding, you are definitely going to die. Or die for a few minutes and then revive when the Doctor’s left.
  • I don’t understand how Christopher Eccleston could be anyone’s least favourite! I actually like him! (Unpopular opinion, but I like David Tennant the least out of the three. I still like him a lot, though.) More than that, how can you not like all of the Doctors!
  • I don’t understand the Martha hate. Why do you hate Martha! I’d put her above Rose. Martha was useful! I like her a lot.
  • I’m in love with Captain Jack Harkness it’s not funny. I watched Utopia and I squealed when he jumped for the TARDIS. My mother thought I was crying.
  • So everyone agrees, it’s a fact, that the events in Closing Time technically happened before The Impossible Astronaut, which means it happened before all of Season 6, which means it happened before The Doctor’s Wife, so. Petrichor. I know it’s just a little wink-nudge thing, but it really disturbs me, because after Amy makes this perfume called “Petrichor” they go ahead in the middle of Season 6 wondering what petrichor is..?
  • So when River says she’s killed the best man she’s ever known, and she knows she’s killed the Tesselecta, so… the Tesselecta’s the best man she’s ever known (Of course not, but I’m just poking a bit of fun at it)?
  • But seriously, though, I don’t understand how the Tesselecta could’ve moved so realistically during the events of The Wedding of River Song and The Impossible Astronaut.
  • My life is going to be so boring when I’m done watching this.
